RANGELEY — The Alzheimer’s Association will present a free program, “Know the 10 Signs: Early Detection Matters” 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, at the Rangeley Public Library, 7 Lake St.
Those who know someone who is experiencing memory loss or behavioral changes can learn the facts.
Early detection of Alzheimer’s disease allows a chance to begin drug therapy, enroll in clinical studies and plan for the future.
The interactive workshop will feature video clips of people with Alzheimer’s disease, and is appropriate for all members of the general public, including those may just be curious about what Alzheimer’s is and who want to know more.
