Kingfield POPS, featuring Bangor Symphony, fireworks is June 30

KINGFIELD — The annual Kingfield POPS concert will take place Saturday, June 30.
The concert features the Bangor Bangor Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Lucas Richman, which will be joined this year by Adam Ezra Group and Gypsy Tailwind Reunion, featuring Anna Lombard.

The guests will also perform solos.The evening will also feature solo performances by Shawn Tooley, GoldenOak and the Western Mountain Trash Can Band.
The show, in its 16th year, concludes with a frieworks finale. Gates open at 4:30 p.m.
While tickets are required to attend, the weekend also features the free Friday Night Art Walk, from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 29, and the Kingfield POPS Road Race, which begins at 9 a.m.o on Saturday, June 30.
All activities take place rain or shine.

Off street parking is required for the POPS concert. Follow signs for POPS PARKING. Bringing a wagon or wheeled cooler will assist with getting your items to the field. Handicap parking is on Kennedy Farm. Other items to consider bringing are a blanket or tarp or low-back chair, flashlight, an extra layer and rain gear. No pets, no open flames or any fireworks are allowed. Picnics are welcome. Food vendors will also be onsite. Pop-up tents are only allowed in designated areas so that the view of the stage is not obstructed for others.
