ServSafe Certification: Nationally recognized certification required of certain staff in restaurants and other institutions that prepare and/or serve food. This credential lets an employer know you are knowledgeable and serious about the importance of food safety. Certification exam during the last hour. Times: 6 to 8 p.m. Mondays, March 6 through 27. $150 includes book and exam.
Alcohol Ink Pendant: Create a unique art necklace using paint with colorful alcohol inks. Add colors, seal, and create your own one of a kind unique glass pendant necklace with fabric chain. Times: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 9. $29 advance registration and an additional $10 to the instructor the night of class for each necklace you make.
Beekeeping: Are you thinking about raising Honey Bees and interested in learning more about how to get started? Our new beekeeper, biologist and owner of MisBeeHaven Farm in Poland will explain the importance and benefits of raising bees, the expense involved and how to access the best local resources. Times: 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 9. $10.
