GREENE — Tommy’s Feral Feline Friends is hosting a fundraiser on Mother’s Day weekend. The nonprofit organization, which cares for feral cats, is recovering from a bad winter and the October storm, which caused significant damage to its colonies.
The organization said it is also dealing with serious medical issues with many aging kitties and medical emergencies this winter.
The group is looking for bakers and baked goods, as well as bottle donations for the event, which is 9 a.m.. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 12, and Sunday, May 13, at a tent in front of Chapter 11, 707 Main St., Lewiston.
“Your baked goods, bottles and donations will go a long way in helping us continue in saving the lives of the forgotten feral of the colonies and the ones crossing our path every day,” said Norm Blais. “For the last 39 years, we have been on a mission to save lives and with your help and support, Tommy’s can keep continuing this important mission.”
