Apr. 112018

AUBURN — The Andy Valley Knights of Columbus, Council 8742 and The Immaculate Heart of Mary Organ Fund Committee are co-sponsoring a public spaghetti dinner at noon Sunday, April 15, at Sacred Heart Church, Minot and Western avenues.

The supper will follow 11 a.m. Mass. The proceeds of the dinner will be split, with half going towards the Pipe Organ Fund at Sacred Heart and half going to the Knights’ charities.
The price is $8 for those older than 12, $6 for those younger. Children under 6 eat for free.
Tom Cremona, past grand knight, will serve his famous sauce. Being a true Italian, Cremona’s home-made sauce is an old family recipe he has been perfecting for more than 30 years, using the finest olive oil, garlic, onions and more; meatballs, sweet Italian sausage and pork chops are simmered in the sauce for more than four hours.
The also includes salad with choice of three dressings, spaghetti cooked al-dente, garlic or Italian bread, a large variety of desserts, water, coffee, tea and punch.
