NEW PORTLAND — The Western Mountains Baptist Church, 929 Carrabassett Road, is accepting applications for its second annual community scholarship.
A $1,000 award will be presented to a western Maine student demonstrating academic and personal potential as well as service to their community. Deadline to apply is April 21.
Graduating seniors from Carrabec and Mt. Abram high schools may submit an application, which can be found online at www.goingmerry.com/browse/western-mountains-baptist-church-community-scholarship/awards/april-2018.
