RAYMOND — The Raymond Arts Alliance has scheduled two events for later this month.
Briana Bizier will discuss the ins and outs of self-publishing at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 22, at Raymond Village Library, 3 Meadow Road.
Bizier has self-published five works, in addition to a traditionally published story. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers.
The alliance also will host a poetry presentation at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 24, at the Raymond Village Community Church, 27 Main St.
The event is open to the public. An entrance fee is suggested but not required.
There is no advanced seating, and doors will open at 6:30 p.m. There will be light refreshments and an opportunity to meet the authors — Mihku Paul Anderson – A Maliseet writer and visual artist; Penthea Burns – Senior policy associate for a local college and a farmer; Richard Taylor – Nordic Skier/Coach and language teacher
