SIDNEY — A tractor safety course, offered by University of Maine Cooperative Extension, will be held Mondays, beginning April 2 , from 6 to 8 p.m. at Kramer’s Inc., 2400 West River Road.
Classes will continue on April 9, 16 and 23.
A written exam and tractor driving test will be held April 30.
The classes are designed for adults and youth at least 14 years old and are required for 14- and 15-year-olds planning to operate farm equipment for hire at farms other than their own.
Those who complete the written and road tests will be issued a Federal Certificate of Training.
