MECHANIC FALLS — Teresa McCann-Tumidajski will be the guest speaker at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 8, at Our Lady of Ransom Church, 117 Elm St.
Her topic will be “Abortion: The Silent Killer.”
McCann-Tumidajski is executive director of Maine Right to Life and president of the board of directors. She has served as chairwoman for the Cathedral Millennium Restoration Project in Portland, raising $1.2 million. She also served as statewide Catholic Campaign manager for two state-wide anti-abortion referenda in 1999 and 2000 regarding abortion and assisted suicide, which were defeated.
