Mt. Blue Music Boosters Cabaret Night fundraiser is March 4

Mar. 32018

WILTON — The Mt. Blue Music Boosters Cabaret night — the first of several spring fundraisers — will take place from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, March 4, at the Calzolaio Pasta Company, 284 Main St.
The restaurant provides the food, space and wait staff for this fundraiser.

Students, music educators and local musicians come together to provide a full two hours of entertainment, and the proceeds help the boosters provide up to $3,000 in summer scholarships for music camps and private lessons, helping with much-needed instrument repairs and purchases.
This year Mt. Blue Ensembles, Profectus Vocals, Franklin County Fiddlers, a jazz ensemble and Crooked Bill (a local duo) will keep the music flowing. The meal is a full course Italian buffet with dessert; a cash bar will be available.
For more information about ticket prices, contact Debbie at 207-491-8503
Other fundraisers include ice cream socials featuring Gifford’s ice cream in March after each of the spring concerts held at Mt. Blue High School and the “Flamingo Event” in April, when you can arrange to have a flock of 10 flamingos delivered under the shadow of darkness to the address of your choosing. New this year, “The Drum Run” will take place in May to raise funds to help purchase drums for the new drum line.
