BRIDGTON — The Bridgton Community Center will offer a Babysitter’s Training Course from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23 at the community center.
Registration for the class must be made before Friday, Feb. 16.
Allison Ross an EMT from United Ambulance will conduct this course. Attendees will receive a certificate.
The basic course gears toward 11 to 14-year-olds, teaching the information on safe and responsible babysitting, basic car, safety and basic first aid, including infant and child heartsaver CPR.
The fee for the class is $40, which covers the cost of the book and a CD as well as other information that participants will be able to take home with them for reference.
Class size is limited to 14. Participants should bring a bag lunch.
