AUBURN — The Auburn Public Library will host a Sharks4Kids program at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22.
Jessica Woodend, the Maine regional ambassador for Sharks4Kids will be the presenter for the hour-long program, which is free and open to the public. It’s best for school-age kids.
Sharks are one of the most important animals we have on this planet, according to a news release from the library. The program talks about sharks’ role in the ecosystem and will help to demonstrate why sharks should be protected instead of feared.
The library is at 49 Spring St.
