LISBON — The Sunshine Hill Neighbors Seniors and the Lisbon Parks and Recreation Department are offering two overnight trips in addition to a Red Sox day trip for 2018.
One of the trips is a six-day bus trip to Quebec City, Montreal and Ottawa; the second trip will be a cruise out of Miami going to Cuba. All trips are open to any age group.
The trip to Canada is scheduled from June 17 – 22. Some of the attractions will include Montreal’s Notre Dame Basilica, its Parliament Hill, Montreal’s Underground City and ByWard Market. Guided tours of Montreal, Quebec City and Ottawa are also included along with a cruise on the St. Lawrence River, admission to Montreal tower, coach bus transportation with free WI/FI, five nights lodging, five breakfasts and five dinners. A passport is required for this trip.
The second trip is a seven-day Cruise to Cuba out of Miami on board the Empress of the Sea Thursday, Oct 25 through Thursday, Nov 1. The itinerary includes stops in Nassau (Bahamas), Labadee (Haiti) Santiago De Cuba (Havana) and then a return to Miami. The trip includes seven nights of accommodations on the Empress of the Sea, all entertainment, meals and snacks on the ship, shipboard gratuities, and port charges and fees. Passports are required for this trip.
Tickets and transportation for the Red Sox vs. Toronto Blue Jays game Wednesday, May 30, offer two different seat locations, both protected from the sun and inclement weather. Departure will be from the MTM Center in Lisbon Falls. Recommendations are to reserve early if interested. Payment is due when reservations are made.
