SeniorsPlus February calendar includes Living with Chronic Pain workshop

LEWISTON — The February calendar of activities at SeniorsPlus includes a six-week series on living with chronic pain.
Living Well with Chronic Pain will be held from 8:30 to 11 a.m., Wednesdays, Feb. 7 to March 14, with instructors Robyn Spugnardi and Cecilia Natale, of SeniorsPlus.
The six-week workshop is for those who want to learn ways to better manage their pain and health concerns.

It’s for adults who have long-term or chronic pain lasting longer than six months, or beyond the expected healing time for an injury. Snacks will be provided and there will be a drawing for a $25 Visa gift card. There is a limit of 16 participants.

A Pictorial Guide to Egypt, 9 to 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 1, wich instructor Lucy Bisson. Bisson, her son and daughter-in-law visited the monuments of Egypt from the Pyramid at Giza to Abu Simbel. Limit 30. This course is for Senior College Members only. To register call 207-780-5960.

Storing Memories, 2 to 3:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 2, with instroctor Kathy Baillargeon, of Room by Room Organizing. Learn how to organize, protect, and enjoy photos for years to come. Participants may bring 100 unorganized and unsorted photos, and should not do a thing with them until class. “Join us and go from feeling overwhelmed to done.” Baillergeon said.
