RANGELEY — Rangeley Friends of the Arts has announced upcoming changes planned at its downtown Lakeside Theater, 2493 Main St., after fundraising goals to add equipment have been met.
The theater will be closed during January and February to make the upgrades.
The Movie Initiative — a fundraising drive to buy equipment and make renovations — met its goal in donations and pledges, the RFA announced.
The upgrades will make RFA Lakeside Theater a first-run movie house. Renovations include a new projector, sound system, and more.
All of the RFA’s other programs will all take place as scheduled.
