Moore Park Art Show seeks artists, crafters

PARIS — Artists and fine crafters are being sought for the eighth annual Moore Park Art Show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 30, with a rain date of Aug. 6. A full day of live entertainment is also planned. Applications are now available online at www.mooreparkartshow.biz.

Artists will be vying for $50 ribbons in fine art, photography and artisan craft to be judged by regional art professionals, as well as a $250 purchase award sponsored by Chandler Funeral Homes.

Artists and fine crafters who represent paintings, drawings, photography, wood working, metal sculpting, weaving, metal smithing glass blowing, beading, print and book making, quilting and more are invited to apply. All artwork displayed must be the original design and creation of the exhibitor.

The historic park venue is located right on Route 26 in South Paris, one of the busiest tourist pipelines in Maine. Adding to the beauty and fun of the show are two beautiful veterans memorials on the park grounds as well as a playground.

Booth spots are 10- by 10-feet and cost $65 for a single exhibitor. Shared booths are $40 for each artist, up to four in a booth. Student booth fees are $40 per booth, or $25 each for a shared booth. Exhibitors must supply their own tent, tables and display materials.

Applications must be received by July 1 for inclusion in the Moore Park Art Show Program. No refunds for any reason will be issued after July 1.

Community groups booth spots are $30. Food vendor spots are $75. Food vendors must provide proof of insurance with application. Please apply early as spots are limited.
