JAY — Roland Poirier, SEO and president of Otis Federal Credit Union, retired Friday, Dec. 29, after 31 years in the position.
During his time at the helm, Poirier oversaw the evolution of Otis into a full-service financial center serving nearly 11,000 members and employing 27 people from Jay and the surrounding communities, according to a news release.
“His knowledge of the industry and his commitment to the credit union movement will inspire many for years to come, and his kindness and sense of humor will be greatly missed,” the release said.
