Leavitt High School basketball teams chalked up wins on Jan. 5 against Lincoln Academy. After a hard-fought 56-54 victory, the boys’ record stood at 4-3.
The girls, playing at Lincoln, won 51-35, putting their season at three wins, four losses.
Game high for the boys went to junior guard Josh Banks with 17 points, while freshman Wyatt Hathaway posted 14. Cole Morin brought down 10 rebounds. High scorer for the girls was Sophie Gilbert with 20 points, while teammate Jayden Carpenter hit for 10.
