AUGUSTA – Maine state Rep. Matt Pouliot, R-Augusta, is inviting area students to serve as honorary pages during the 128th Legislature.
The second regular session of the Legislature begins Wednesday, Jan. 3, and ends April 18. Pouliot represents District 86, which comprises part of Augusta.
Students grade three through high school are eligible to be honorary pages. Pages have the opportunity to see what it’s like to work on the floor of the House and be part of a Legislative Session.
Pages perform duties such as delivering messages to legislators and distributing materials in the Chamber. Each page assists for one day.
