JAY – The GFWC/Livermore Falls Women’s Club will meet at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, at LaFleur’s restaurant.
At the January meeting each year Doris’ Brunch is celebrated. This brunch is named after Doris Rothrock who was the Club secretary from 1990 to 1998.
She moved here from out of state with her husband who became the Methodist minister in Livermore Falls.
Each January she invited the club to her home for the January meeting and is remembered for serving a delicious jellied salad. Copies of that recipe will be available at the meeting.
The business meeting will be a discussion of upcoming community service projects, state resident’s projects and future workshops. For more information, email ggeh@roadrunner.com.
