WINTHROP — The Kennebec Land Trust will sponsor a snowshoe outing at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 19 at the Holman Conservation Area in Litchfield.
The conservation area protects 75 acres of reclaimed land, with tree-lined paths dominated by birches, quaking aspen, balsam fir and northern white cedar.
The outing is the KLT’s first in 2018. The KLT Outing Club hosts walks or other outings on a (mostly) monthly basis. All ages are welcome.
Snowshoes will be available for those who don’t have their own. No registratoin is required.
