LEWISTON — The Lewiston Public Library will hold its annual Gingerbread Day event in Callahan Hall from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16.
This year will have a Harry Potter twist. Callahan Hall will feature shops scattered throughout the space, transformed into the wizarding world of Hogwarts.
There will be manyn Harry Potter ativities, including drinking Butterbeer, making magical crafts, visiting shops just for wizards, winning raffle prizes, receiving glitter tattoos and exploring the truly spooky Shrieking Shack. There will also be gingerbread wizard decorating.
The event is free for kids and their families. Costumes are highly encouraged for all ages. Library staff will be dressed up, too.
