SeniorsPlus Caregiver Support Group to meet Dec. 1 in Farmington

FARMINGTON — SeniorsPlus is holding a Caregiver Support Group at from 3 to 4:30 p.m., Monday, Dec. 4, at its office at 218 Fairbanks Road.

The Franklin County branch of the organization also announced office hours in Farmington.

The support group is for caregivers of persons with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia, and is a chance to connect with others, share experiences, gain information, support and a friendly ear, the organization said.
Preregistration is not necessary to attend, and the group is free and open to the public.

Office hours for scheduled appointments at the Fairbanks Road location are from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. every Wednesday. Visitors must call 1-800-427-1241 to schedule an appointment.

Walk-in hours are from 12:30to 4:30 p.m. on the second Thursday of the month. Staff will be on hand to answer any questions or concerns you may have about services and resources for older adults and adults with disabilities and their families. Services are free and open to the public.
