AUGUSTA — Organist Jay Zoller and the Downeast Brass Quintet will be featured at a holiday performance in the Concerts at Jewett Series, 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17, at South Parish Congregational Church, 9 Church St.
“A Christmas Concert: The Downeast Brass with Jay Zoller, Organist,” is sponsored by the University of Maine at Augusta.
Zoller is organist at South Parish Congregational Church, and for years has performed a holiday concert featuring the Downeast Brass Quintet. Concerts at Jewett has joined a co-sponsor the past few years.
Zoller plays the historic 1866 E. & G.G. Hook organ at church services and concerts. He comes to South Parish with long experience in church music and recital playing.
The Downeast Brass has performed in many New England settings, from concerts to parades.
