Fire Department to lead Santa parade in Norway Dec. 1

NORWAY– The Fire Department Light Parade will be led by Santa and Mrs. Claus, beginning at 5:45 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1.

The parade will go down Beal Street, take a right at Chalmers Insurance onto Main Street, then take a left onto Pikes Hill and a right onto Water Street and end at Butters Park by the flag pole and Norway’s Christmas tree.

After the tree lighting, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be escorted back to the Norway Fire Station.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will then be available for photos — participants should bring their own camera.

There is no cost for the event.

Refreshments will be provided by the Norway Firemen’s Relief Association.
