WLU to offer docent training Nov. 4 for Auburn’s Foss Mansion

AUBURN – The Woman’s Literary Union of Androscoggin County will open up its docent training to the public from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at the Foss Mansion, 19 Elm St. Docents are needed to help with tours given during WLU’s centennial celebration of the mansion the following Saturday, Nov. 11, from 5 to 8 p.m. Reservations are required for the centennial celebration.

Docents are needed to act as volunteer tour guides who engage visitors in discussions about the Foss Mansion. The training will provide the docents with information about the mansion that they can share during the centennial celebration tours.
