AUBURN — The Woman’s Literary Union will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Foss Mansion from 5 to 8 p.m Saturday, Nov. 11, at the Foss Mansion, 19 Elm St.
The celebration will include music, appetizers and a cash bar.
This centennial celebration will launch the Foss Mansion Capital Campaign and the theme of the evening is “100 years in fashion,” with guests asked to come dressed in their favorite fashions of the last 100 years.
The WLU is the steward of the Foss Mansion, which was bequeathed to the WLU in 1941 and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
The WLU was organized in 1892 and is a nonprofit organization whose mission is the intellectual, cultural and educational advancement of its members and the community and to preserve the Foss Mansion.
