BELGRADE — The winners of the Harvest Festival coloring contest have been announced.
Leah Monaghan, from Del Haven, N.J., won in the ages 5 and under category. Sandy Christiansen, from Rhode Island, came in second.
Camryn Swails, of Sidney, won in the ages 6 to 8 category. Kaitlyn Christiansen, from Rhode Island, came in second.
Brynn Barron, of Belgrade, won in the ages 9-12 category. Aleiah Whitehurst, of Rome, was second.
Some 24 children participated the contest, held Oct. 7 at the Community Center for All Seasons. The winners each received $5; second-place finishers got Halloween goody bag.
The contest was sponsored by the Friends of the Belgrade Public Library.
