OXFORD HILLS — The annual Christmas parade will be held Saturday, Nov. 25, beginning at 11 a.m.
The parade will start on Main Street, Norway, and end in Market Square, South Paris. This year’s theme is “The 12 Days of Christmas.”
Float and groups can register online by clicking the event link.
There is a $35 fee to register a judged float. The parade will be held regardless of the weather so all participants and parade goers are urged to dress appropriately.
All larger groups should meet in the New Balance parking lot on Cottage Street by 10 a.m. (unless otherwise directed). All floats being judged need to be lined up and ready by 9:30 a.m. on Cottage Street. Given road closures and parade traffic, you will want to enter Cottage Street from Alpine Street. The parade will last between approximately one hour and 90 minutes; the Paris Police Department has asked all groups to disperse along on Western Avenue. Anyone picking up a parade participant should do so at the fire station or courthouse parking lots. Floats and groups should not unload on High Street.
For additional information, contact the Norway or Paris town office.
