NORWAY — Members and friends of the Second Congregational Church, UCC, are busy planning for the church’s annual ticket auction, which will be held beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4.
Elaine Emery is coordinating the work crew, which is processing more than 300 items for the auction.
There will be a Dollar Table, vintage apple crates, gift baskets, a handmade quilt, a table made from skis, Christmas items, and much more.
Donations for the auction are welcome, and can be dropped off at Second Congregational Church, 205 Main S. from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday through Friday. Donors can also call 207-743-2290 to make arrangements. Viewing for the auction starts at 1 p.m. Nov. 4, with the auction starting at 3 p.m. Ticket envelopes will be available in many price ranges for every budget. Homemade food and beverages will also be available during the auction. Proceeds will benefit the many missions and community outreach programs of the church.
