NORWAY — The annual Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce Business & Community Expo will be Saturday, Oct. 28 in the gym at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School. More than 50 businesses and organizations will share their products and services with the business community and general public.
“We welcome the general public into this event at no cost,” said John Williams, executive director of the chamber. “This event is all about giving the businesses and organizations a chance to network with each other and the general public. The Oxford Hills is home to several businesses and organizations that people may not be familiar with. This event brings all different types of products and services under one roof so the general public can come and see what’s located right here in the Oxford Hills.”
There are still some exhibitor spaces available, and those interested should register online at oxfordhillsmaine.com, or call the chamber office at 207-743-2281.
The event is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and throughout the day hot topic presentations will be sponsored by Patrick Casalinova, KW Commercial. Topics include solar energy, smart home technology and healthy living. Exhibitors will also be able to attend a presentation geared just for businesses about attracting, recruiting and retaining millennials, sponsored by Norway Savings Bank.
“We decided to change things up this year and bring in some experts on a variety of topics that we hope will interest both the business community and general public. A full schedule of the hot topics and information on the presenters will be available soon. Please check the website or Facebook page for updated information. There will also be a printed schedule available the day of the event,” said Williams.
The expo will also have door prize drawings throughout the event, and the Ox, Maine’s Real Country radio station, will be broadcasting live from the event.
Sponsors include Patrick Casalinova KW Commercial, Oxford Federal Credit Union, Hildreth & Co., Norway Savings Bank, Turner Publishing and Community Concepts Finance Corporation.
