LEWISTON/AUBURN — The Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce will host Downtown Trick or Treat from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, on Lisbon Street in Lewiston and Main Street in Auburn.
The event engages downtown businesses and invigorates community spirit by promoting Lisbon and Main streets as walkable, safe, family-friendly places, according to the chamber.
LA Metro Chamber members will be set up in Dufresne Plaza, 72 Lisbon St., and Festival Plaza, 112 Main St., before and during the event, handing out trick-or-treat bags and maps indicating participating businesses.
The chamber will expand into Auburn this year, featuring a trolley from Northeast Charter and Tours to help shuttle trick-or-treaters across the bridge. A Zamboni will be parked in Dufresne Plaza; Scrubby the mascot from Spectrum Healthcare Partners also will make an appearance. Maine Photography Studio will be on hand to take photos of Trick-or-Treaters.
