LEWISTON — There are a number of Lewiston and Auburn veterans’ activities for the month of October scheduled.
There will be free flu shots for veterans from 10 to 11 a.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays and 2 to 3 p.m. Fridays at the VA Clinic, 15 Challenger Drive.
Veterans are also encouraged to start planning for the Veterans Day ceremony, to be held at 10 a.m. Nov. 11, at the Armory.
Other veterans activities this month include:
At 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, the Franco American Post 31 group meets at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave.
At 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 16, VFW Post 9150 meets at the Armory.
At 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, American Legion Post 22 meets at the Armory.
