FARMINGTON — Contradancers, as well as beginners, are welcome at two dances to be held at the Farmington Grange on Saturday, Oct. 14.
There will be a family contradance before the main event, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Grange, 124 Bridge St.
The contradance — with Velocipede playing and Cynthia Phinney calling — begins at 8 p.m.
All dances are taught, beginners are welcome, and no partner is necessary to join in the fun.
The cost of the family dance is $2. The cost of the official contradance is $6 for adults, $5 for students or a maximum of $15 for a family.
