AUGUSTA — Mystery writer Maureen Milliken, Maine author of the Bernie O’Dea series. will speak at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, at the Unitarian Universalist Community Church, 69 Winthrop St.
“Bernie O’Dea” is a Maine crime solver who thinks and acts like a journalist. Milliken’s latest offering in the series is “No News is Bad News.”
Milliken is a former journalist and reporter and more recently city editor of the Morning Sentinel in Waterville. She will talk about her books and writing, answer questions, as well as sign books that will be available for purchase.
