Turner Public Library tasting party fundraiser is Sept. 30

TURNER — The Turner Public Library is holding a new fall fundraising event, a tasting party, from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30.
Ricker Hill Orchards will host the tasting party, and community members are donating themed baskets, which will be raffled off during the course of the evening.
There will be wine and hard cider samples available as well as appetizers, a food truck and live music.

The library not only serves the community as a lending library, but also regularly hosts classes, crafting tutorials and a variety of other events in an effort to serve and engage patrons.
The event replaces the annual Christmas Silent Auction.
