Franklin County Democrats to host candidates beginning in September

FARMINGTON — The Franklin County Democratic Committee will begin hosting primary candidates in September. The next monthly meeting of the committee is from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10, at Mallett School.

Featured speakers at upcoming events will include candidates for Maine governor, U.S. senator and U.S. Representative. At the Sept. 10 meeting, the guest will be gubernatorial candidate Patrick Eisenhart of Augusta. On Sunday, Sept. 17, the committee will the Maine Democratic Party State Committee Meeting.

Up to 125 Democratic leaders from around the state will be meeting throughout the day. Also in September, committee members will have booths at the Farmington and Common Ground fairs. The booths will have candidate information, items for sale and art for raffle.
