SUMNER — Bob Perry talks with Violet Enman, Sumner Food Bank supervisor, and Hope Presbyterian Church Youth Team members about the placement of counters and shelves in the Sumner Food Bank. Perry, a local wood carver, often donates his carpentry skills to upgrades at the food bank, at the rear of the Congregational Church of East Sumner, 50 Main St. The food bank is open to Sumner residents from 9 a.m. to noon on the first and third Mondays of the month.
