AUGUSTA — U.S. Sen. Susan Collins has announced Alexis Dostie, a Vassalboro native, was awarded a summer internship in her Augusta office. A 2014 graduate of Cony High School in Augusta, she is the daughter of Angela and Bruce Dostie of Vassalboro.
“Alexis is a terrific student and a hard worker, and I am delighted to welcome her to my Augusta office” said Senator Collins. “It is always an honor to give students the opportunity to become actively involved in the legislative process and to serve the citizens of Maine.”
Dostie is entering her senior year at Boston College, studying psychology. Upon graduation, she is interested in pursuing a law degree and hopes her experience in the senator’s office will enhance her studies and problem-solving skills.
