Library to offer tech help

MOUNT VERNON — The Dr. Shaw Memorial Library, 344 Pond Road, will be offering one-on-one assistance to anyone needing help with their electronic devices on two consecutive Mondays, Aug. 14 and 21, from 3 to 5 p.m. The half-hour slots are by appointment only.

Times can be extended if there are openings. The library’s volunteer can help with setting up e-mail, opening a Facebook account, downloading to a Kindle, iPad, Nook or other device, and answering questions about cell phones or other portable devices.
