LEEDS — The Good Shepherd Food Bank’s Food Mobile — a “food pantry on wheels” — will distribute a variety of nutritious food to people in need in the Leeds area Thursday, Aug. 24, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Leeds Community Church, 123 Church Hill Road. The truck will offer a variety of nonperishable food items, fresh produce and frozen meat.
The Food Mobile will be available to any family in the area dealing with financial hardship and struggling to put dinner on the table. There is no paperwork to fill out and no cost to “just come and shop.”
