LEWISTON — Hear music soar with the Maine Music Society Chorale’s “A Heritage Christmas” at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, and 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, at Gendron Franco Center, 46 Cedar St.
This year the chorale’s performance of Christmas music will include heartwarming arrangements of holiday favorites such as
“White Christmas,” “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” and “I’ll Be Home for Christmas.”
You’ll also feel the rhythmic swing of lively traditional spirituals and the soothing joy of an a cappella rendition of Morten
Lauridsen’s “Ave Maria.”
The concert finishes with everyone joining in to sing a round of festive carols.
Tickets are $22 for adults, $20 for seniors and $10 for students. Children under 12 are free when accompanied by an adult.
