Lewiston Public Library closed on Aug. 2 for staff time

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Public Library, 200 Lisbon St., will be closed all day Wednesday, Aug. 2, to allow staff the time needed to rearrange the first floor fiction and large print sections in order to increase access and make it easier to find books.

In addition, a library server migration is scheduled for the same day, causing various systems to be unavailable, including the online catalog and library account information. Digital services through LibraryLA.org still will be available. The library’s two book drops will continue to be monitored throughout the day, so any item returns will be unaffected.
