Larry Forbes directs the Lake Region Middle School sixth-grade band in the holiday tune “The Angels Mix.” The young instrumentalists began the Middle School’s Holiday Concert on Dec. 13. Later in the program Hunter Hills gave a solo on his cello, and the seventh- and eighth-grade band played four pieces, including a “Hymn to Those Who Served.”
Kaytrien Hall sang “There Never Will Be Another You” as the Middle School Jazz Band played a nice accompaniment. Also singing a fun solo was Jarrett Levesque with “Run, Run Rudolph.”
The combined chorus of Lake Region Middle School obviously has a lot of fun with music and their music teacher, Brian Tingdahl. Here he is joking with the audience as the smiles on the kids’ faces show (see inset). They performed five selections, including a rambunctious delivery of “Jingle Bells.”
