TURNER — John and Michelle Higgins of Turner are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Derek Higgins, to Sierra Smith, daughter of Becky Michaud, of Auburn, and Mark Smith, of Norway.
The future bridegroom graduated from Edward Little High School in Auburn with the class of 2010 and from Southern New Hampshire University, where he was named to the president’s list. His fiancee was home-schooled, graduating in 2014; she is following her love for children in early childhood education.
The wedding is planned for October 14 at King’s Hill Inn and Barn in South Paris.
