READFIELD — Football players from kindergarten through eighth grade are invited to a week of free football camp, with a chance to register for the youth football season, in July.
Football players in kindergarten through eighth grade may attend camp the evenings of Monday, July 24, through Thursday, July 27. There are also designated nights to sign up for youth football while at the camp.
All age groups will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Maranacook High School practice field
Registration nights are kindergarten through second grade (flag, t-shirt) 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, July 24.
Fifth and sixth grades, (youth, full gear), 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, July 24 (registration only).
Third and fourth grades (pee wee, full gear), 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 26 (registration only).
Seventh and eighth grades, (middle school, full gear), 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday (registration only).
Campers must bring a signed release form, proof of health insurance, cleats or sneakers and a water bottle. Forms can be found at the Maranacook website, www.marancook.org or the Maranacook Football Inc. website, leaguelineup.com, and are available nights of camp. No participation is allowed without release form and proof of insurance.
For those who sign up for the youth football season, equipment will not be issued without player’s registration forms signed by parent or guardian, registration fee and equipment deposit check. A separate deposit check is needed for all levels. If cost is prohibiting a player to sign up, there is a scholarship available.
