SUMNER — The Congregational Church of East Sumner will hold its first beanhole bean supper Saturday, July 8, at 5:30 p.m. at the church, 50 Main St., Route 219. The cost is $8 per person or $22 per family. Beans, salads, dessert, coffee and punch, as well as a raffle of baked goods and household items, will be part of the event.
Proceeds benefit the outreach mission of the church. A campfire and singalong at the East Sumner pavilion will take place at dusk as beans are put in the hole for the public supper. For more information, one may call Bill at 207- 388-2263.
