Greenville – Fly In and 25th Anniversary of 911 Ceremony

Civil Air Patrol Maine Wing joined communities across the nation in marking the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001. On Saturday September 12 at the International Seaplane Fly-In in Greenville our members participated in a formal presentation of the colors, the National Anthem, a moment of silence, a coordinated American flag waving observance, accompanied by a Missing Man Formation flyover in support of Wreaths Across America’s 25th anniversary September 11 remembrance initiative.
Members of the Auburn-Lewiston Composite Squadron participated in the event. Cadet Captain Summit Woodcock of Livermore served as the Cadet Commander for this event. Cadet Lt Col Scout Woodcock of Livermore served as a Flight Line Safety Officer. She also led the flag folding and presentation to Gary Norris, Veteran and President of the International Seaplane Fly-In. Cadets Chief Master Sergeant Emilee Blake of Greene, Cadet Staff Sergeants Dameon Pepin and Kaz Suzuki of Auburn and Cadet Senior Airman Caden Richard of Leeds also participated in flag waving ceremony.
