Kids, ages 9-14, and their families are needed to try out and test the Maine State Museum’s newest interactive exhibit and provide feedback.
The subject of this testing is the museum’s new touchtable, which tells the story of Defence, a Revolutionary War privateer that sank in Stockton Harbor in 1779. As a tester, you’ll be able to “dive” into Penobscot Bay to discover artifacts that were excavated in 1979, and learn what it’s like to be an underwater archaeologist.
Come help ensure that the museum’s fun, informative, and innovative interactive runs smoothly and provides a great experience for future users.
*Registration is required. Plan to spend 1 hour at the museum for this free activity. Space is limited. The deadline to sign up is Thursday, July 23rd, or until spots are full.
