Rangeley – Rangeley Friends of the Arts Summer Series

The Rangeley Friends of the Arts (RFA) will present a summer full of live music as part of our Concert Series.
All shows begin at 7PM unless otherwise noted. Tickets are available in advance online at www.rangeleyarts.org and at the door: Patrons 18 and older $15, 12 and under only $10

July 2 & August 20 @7PM The Sandy River Ramblers
The Sandy River Ramblers is a Maine bluegrass band with a heavy emphasis on original songs about Maine that have a loyal following. They return to the RFA for a second concert this summer.

Invite the Wild:

Invite the Wild combines elements of multiple genres including Rock, Blues, Soul, R & B and Country to make a sound that is sure to leave everyone happy and dancing.

July 12@7PM Sagittarius Rising
Sagittarius Rising is twin sister duo Isabelle and Phoebe Rogers from Western Maine. Together they create uplifting, original music inspired by nature and the imagination with vocal harmonies, guitar, penny whistle and percussion. They are also artists and award-winning filmmakers, blending their music soundtracks with artistic visuals. Sagittarius Rising believes that music is a powerful way to ignite positive change in the world.

The Street Dance is an open-air rock concert that’s perfect for the whole family. Pond Street, along the shore of Haley Pond, is closed to traffic so that all ages can dance and enjoy the music. This years featured Band: MATT & THE BARNBURNERS. Special guest performance by Scheherazade Middle Eastern Dancers.

August 1 @7PM Dan Kennedy
Composer-Pianist Dan Kennedy has performed Solo Piano concerts in 23 states, Qu颥c, and has garnered 850,000 internet plays. Classically trained at Oberlin and New England Conservatories, Dan is a winner of a 2022 Global Music Award, a 2022 Native American Music Award (with Ancient Voices) and the 2019 Enlightened Piano Radio Album of the Year. His recordings of originals and more well-known tunes have spent as many as 7 consecutive months on the ZMR Top 100. His 10 albums are distributed to 34 international listening services.

Rangeley Community Chorus is a group of year-round and seasonal residents of the Rangeley area plus members from surrounding towns. Membership in the Community Chorus is open and rotating. We are thrilled to start the weekend of live music at the RFA with this lighthearted and fun program directed by Erin Perkins Smith
